The Orange County Fire Services Association and the Orange County Fire Chiefs Association co-host this tribute to Orange County Firefighters that have passed away since October the previous year.

This event is held every year at the Firefighter Monument at Irvine Park.

Children are allowed up on the fire engine to explore, feel comfortable, put on equipment and ask questions. Parent attendance is encouraged and welcome.

10 Tips for Fire Safety

Install and maintain smoke detectors.
Plan and practice to escape.
Smokers need to extra cautious.
Be careful while cooking.
Space heaters need space.
Put matches and lighters up high, and out of reach of children.
Use electricity safety. check all cords and wires.
Cool a burn for 10-15 minutes to stop the spread of the burn.
If your clothes catch on fire, STOP, DROP and ROLL.
Crawl low under smoke so you can breathe easier.
